Bringing it together

As a developer at BananaCrystal, I contributed to building a secure, blockchain-powered peer-to-peer payment platform. The system was built on the Polygon blockchain to enable fast, low-cost USD transactions, addressing issues like high fees and slow processing times.

We also developed robust card rails, allowing users to seamlessly link debit cards for transactions, enhancing accessibility and convenience for both personal and business use.

Enhancing the Payment Experience

One major challenge we addressed was the lack of effective communication during payment disputes. To solve this, I implemented a peer-to-peer chat system, enabling real-time communication between users and the dispute resolution team.

This feature streamlined the resolution process, allowing both parties to provide evidence, clarify issues, and reach quicker resolutions, significantly improving user satisfaction and platform trust.

Strengthening Profile Management

I enhanced profile management by integrating Sumsub for identity verification, preventing bad actors from accessing the platform. This improved security, ensured compliance, and streamlined the onboarding process.

Project Outcomes

As part of a collaborative effort, we successfully delivered a secure and efficient P2P payment platform. Key achievements included the implementation of profile verification via Sumsub, a real-time dispute chat system, and card rails integration. These features enhanced transaction security, streamlined onboarding, and improved user trust in the platform.
